LHAS recently signed on as a participant in Lights Out Connecticut to help reduce bird deaths caused by building collisions. Protecting birds and their habitats is a key part of the LHAS mission. We want to help residents and businesses in our area understand the hazards nighttime outdoor lighting poses to migrating birds.
